Inappropriate Behaviour will not be Tolerated.

At switch properties, we pride ourselves on being a diverse and safe environment free from harassment on any basis including, but not limited to, harassment on the basis of race, color, sex, age, national origin, veteran or military status, pregnancy status, sexual orientation, gender identity, cultural affiliation, religion, genetic information, physical or mental disability, personal characteristics.
We want to make clear that any bullying, harassment or inappropriate behaviour in the workplace will absolutely not be tolerated.
  • Our staff always treat visitors to the workplace with respect and professionalism, We expect visitors to reciprocate this behaviour.
  • Anyone found violating this basic rule will be asked to leave the premises
Unacceptable behaviour (including bullying, harassment and victimisation), may involve actions, words or physical gestures that could reasonably be perceived to be the cause of another person’s distress or discomfort.
Bullying or harassment may be by an individual against an individual or involve groups of people.
switch properties defines behaviour as being unacceptable if:
  • It is unwanted by the recipient.
  • It has the purpose or effect of violating the recipient’s dignity and/or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, and
  • Having regard to all the circumstances, including the recipient’s perception, it was reasonabe for the behaviour to have that effect.
Unacceptable behaviour does not have to be face-to-face, and may take many forms such as written, telephone or e-mail communications or through social media.

We want to reiterate, we have a ZERO tolerance policy on any form of harassment.
