Does this affect my agreements with my Estate Agents?

No! - SwitchProperties is not an estate agent and so advertising your property for exchange with us does not affect any agreements that you have with your Estate Agent. This is what is so good about our service. It costs very little and yet you could make massive savings with Estate Agents fees and save all the risk and frustration of being part of a long chain. If you are very serious about parting with your property, then we recommend registering with an Estate Agent also.

Do I still have to pay Stamp Duty?

Yes - unfortunately. Recent changes to legislation now mean that you have to pay stamp duty on the full purchase price of your new property, even if you have exchanged it with your buyer.

Does SwitchProperties.co.uk charge commission?

No! You only pay a single charge of £29.99 to list your property with us. We will keep your advert on our web site for up to six months. There are no other additional or hidden costs whatsoever.

Can I list more than one property with you?

Yes! If you are lucky enough to have more than one property, you can list as many as you like, however each listing costs £29.99 and we do not allow Estate Agents to use our service unless there is a specific partnership agreement in place.

Do you publish my email address, phone number, or property address?

Absolutely not! We treat your contact details with respect and with great concern for your security and privacy. Your personal contact details are not published on our site and a potential buyer can only contact you through our anonymous contact form so that you are in complete control of the communication process.

Can I change my property details at any time?

Yes! When you register with us, you supply a username and password that can then be used to edit any of your contact or property details at any time.
